DEPOSIT AND BILLING POLICY

In consideration of receiving a tattoo from Classic Ink Tattoo Studio including its artists, associates, apprentices, agents, or any employees (hereinafter referred to as the “Tattoo Studio”)

 

I agree to the following:

BOOKING FEE, DEPOSIT & APPOINTMENT POLICY


Non-Refundable Booking Fee / Deposit

A minimum $100 non-refundable booking fee (deposit) is required to reserve all tattoo appointments at Classic Ink Tattoo Studio. This amount will be applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.

This booking fee:

1. Secures your artist’s time for your scheduled appointment

2. Covers consultation, concept development, and custom design preparation

3. Is earned immediately upon booking


Nature of the Booking Fee / Deposit

By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree that:

1. The booking fee is not payment for a completed tattoo, but for reserving the artist's time and initiating design work

2. The booking fee is earned regardless of whether the tattoo is ultimately completed

3. The booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, except where required by law


Cancellation, Rescheduling & Forfeiture Policy

A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to reschedule your appointment.

With proper notice:

1. Your booking fee/deposit may be transferred to a new appointment date


Your deposit/booking fee will be forfeited in full if you:

1. Cancel or reschedule with less than 72 hours’ notice

2. Do not appear for your appointment (no-show)

3. Arrive more than 20 minutes late without communication

4. Reschedule two or more times for the same tattoo (regardless of notice)

5. Fail to reschedule within 30 days of a cancellation

6. Request significant design changes requiring a redraw

7. Change agreed-upon placement

8. Arrive without a valid, physical government-issued ID

9. Arrive with damaged, compromised, or sunburned skin in the tattoo area

10. Arrive intoxicated or under the influence

11. Fail to comply with studio policies or artist instructions


If forfeited, a new booking fee/deposit is required to schedule another appointment.


No-Show Policy

Clients who miss their appointment without notice:

1. Forfeit their booking fee/deposit

2. Must submit a new booking fee/deposit to rebook

3. May be declined from future appointments  at the studio’s discretion


Billing Policy

Tattoo services are billed at an hourly rate of $200/hour, beginning at your scheduled appointment time.


Billable time includes:

1. Tattooing and design adjustments (resizing/editing)

2. Stencil application

3. Equipment setup and sanitation procedures

4. Supply replenishment during the session

5. Client lateness up to 20 minutes


Touch-Ups:

1. Minor touch-ups are free within 90 days

2. After 90 days: $100 setup fee

3. Extensive rework (over 1 year): $200/hour


Design Process & Artwork Policy

1. You confirm that you have submitted your tattoo concept to your artist and have reviewed their portfolio to ensure their style aligns with your vision

2. Tattoo design is subjective, and variations may exist between your concept and the final design

3. Minor design adjustments may be made at the artist’s discretion at your appointment

4. Requests for substantial changes, new concepts, or redraws will require a new deposit; the original deposit will be forfeited as payment for drawing time and lost appointment time

6. Previewing designs prior to your appointment or receiving artwork via email is not available


Placement, Size & Estimate Acknowledgment

1. You confirm that the placement you have submitted on your consultation form is accurate for your tattoo appointment

2. Price estimates are approximate and may change based on final design, detail, size, or placement adjustments

3. The design will be created specifically for the agreed-upon placement

4. Changing placement may result in the forfeiture of your deposit and require a new deposit


Custom Artwork & Preparation Time

Tattoo appointments often involve hours of preparation before your session, including:

1. Concept development

2. Reference gathering

3. Custom drawing and design work

This preparation is completed before your appointment and is a core component of what your booking fee/deposit covers.


Age Requirements and Identification

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age at the time of booking.


In accordance with Florida law (F.S. §381.00787):

1. Tattooing is strictly prohibited for anyone under the age of 16

2. Individuals aged 16–17 may only be tattooed with a parent or legal guardian present, valid government-issued identification for both parties, and written, notarized parental consent


Because individuals under the age of 18 are considered minors and cannot legally enter into binding contracts or independently consent to services, the following policies apply:

1. Minors (ages 16–17) are not permitted to book appointments online or submit booking fees/deposits independently

2. All appointments involving minors must be arranged directly through the studio with a parent or legal guardian present and participating in the booking process

3. Any booking fee/deposit submitted by a minor without proper guardian authorization may be voided or forfeited at the discretion of the studio


Identification

1. A valid, physical government-issued ID is required

2. Expired, damaged, altered, or digital IDs are not accepted

3. Failure to provide ID will result in forfeiture of your booking fee/deposit and cancellation of your appointment


By submitting a booking fee, you confirm that:

1. You are legally eligible to enter into this agreement

2. You meet all age requirements under Florida law

3. You understand that failure to meet these requirements will result in cancellation of your appointment and forfeiture of your booking fee/deposit


Client Responsibilities & Requirements

Health & Safety

1. You must inform your artist of any medical conditions or medications (including blood thinners)

2. Doctor clearance may be required in some cases

3. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in appointment cancellation


Aftercare

1. You agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided by your artist

2. Improper aftercare may result in additional charges for touch-ups


Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By submitting payment, you agree that this booking fee is for services rendered immediately upon booking, including consultation and design preparation, and therefore is not eligible for chargeback under ‘services not rendered."

You acknowledge that:

1. The booking fee/deposit covers time reservation and design work already initiated

2. Services are fulfilled upon booking and preparation, not solely upon completion of the tattoo


Disputed charges may be contested with:

1. Signed policy acknowledgment

2. Appointment records

3. Communication logs

4. Proof of design work

5. Right to Refuse Service

Classic Ink Tattoo Studio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason deemed appropriate. In such cases, booking fee handling will be determined at the discretion of the studio.


Booking Review Process

After booking:

1. Your request will be reviewed by the studio

2. Upon booking, your request will be reviewed, and if any adjustments are needed regarding your design, placement, or sizing, an artist will contact you within 72 hours to discuss your options.
