Breif Description: I currently have a mandala knee tattoo and an unfinished tribal-style lion on my upper thigh. I’m looking to complete a full leg concept over the next 8 months or so. I am drawn to large-scale geometric blackwork, sacred geometry, mandala, and ornamental dotwork styles similar to the attached references. I particularly like the use of layered mandalas, honeycomb/hexagonal patterns, negative space, smooth geometric transitions, and heavy black-and-grey stipple shading. My goal is to create a cohesive design that ties the existing mandala knee piece and lion together while filling the remaining open areas of the leg in a way that flows naturally with the anatomy. I’d like the lion to remain a focal point of the upper thigh, with the geometric work serving as a background and connective element throughout the leg. I’m open to creative input regarding pattern transitions, sacred geometry elements, and overall composition to create a balanced full-leg piece.
