Breif Description: One of my closest childhood friends passed away last year on my birthday, so this year on my birthday I wanted to get a tattoo in his memory. Brief backstory, we grew up together up in Maine. I was adopted, and in my early 20’s he helped me find my biological family. I’m Native American and he was with me when I met them for the first time. So I wanted something that was reminiscent of Maine and that journey. That includes his birthday and name date he died etc. there’s also a quote I was hoping to somehow incorporate “ I will endure a lifetime of missing you, for the privilege of loving you” There’s also a significance to dragonflies. After he passed, I had a few experiences with them here , as did his family and friends up in Maine. I’d like to somehow incorporate a dragonfly into the piece as well
